The Serpent & the Sword

Practicing tantra means searching for unconditional love in everything we encounter.
Love is not the same as "liking" or "admiring". After all, can we love the broken, the damaged and the small, vulnerable? Love is a force that unites, allows and heals.
The Serpent & the Sword
20 - 24 April 2022
During this workshop, we will explore energies and how life force can be blocked by suppressed emotions and unexpressed boundaries. We will open up to experience a subtle flow of kundalini energy – the creative and ecstatic power that resides within us all. This power is pure and unconditional love, and when we open ourselves to it, we are filled with awe and reverence for life.
So, what is it that holds this power back?
It is when we, or others, do violence to ourselves by denying our right to express our individual truth, our needs, and our integrity.
When we suppress our truth, we become tense, stressed, anxious, judgmental, and develop a protective shell — both mental and physical. This shell prevents us from fully enjoying life.
Sometimes, one needs to explore strength, resistance, and power in order to break open this hardened shell.
During this workshop, we will lovingly and consciously approach the violence that keeps us imprisoned. We will do this through playfulness and by diving into our erotic darkness.
In Tantric yoga, violence is not seen as “evil” in itself, but as energy that has been distorted or misdirected. Aggressioncan be transformed into power, courage, and transformation when guided by awareness. In tantra, we seek to transformthis force rather than deny it.
Improve your communication and your authenticity by exploring boundaries and needs.
Through energetic exercises and meditations we open up our energy field and our kundalini.
Meet the melting point between pain and pleasure, between power and sensuality.
Experience energetic sex! Multiple orgasms and ecstasy with your clothes on!
Explore your power through powerplay. What happens if you open up your dominance or your submission in the encounter with others?
Come alone or as a couple. If you come alone you can change partners during the weekend and if you come in a pair you can choose to do all the exercises with your partner, or switch from time to time.
Co-facilitator - Villu Kangur
Villu makes no claims to be a guru or someone who has all the answers. What he offers comes from lived experience – raw, honest, and shaped by years of navigating both darkness and discipline. This practice is born from those experiences, and is offered not as dogma but as an invitation to explore.
His background is woven from many different influences: a degree in physiotherapy, years of experience in Greco-Roman wrestling, Buddhist meditation and tantra. He also draws inspiration from experiences in the BDSM scene, where he has explored both sides of the power dynamic – something that has deepened his respect for consent, surrender and trust.
His way of facilitating is down to earth, honest and often a little raw. He is not there to elevate himself – he will sweat and wrestle alongside you. His goal is to create a space where laughter, vulnerability and shadow can coexist without excuses.
